He said Mr Richardson acted properly at all times and claims he was supported by the DPP once a full charging report had been seen. Mr Richardson felt, however, the AG seemed more concerned with placating James Levy, the subject of the search warrant than he was in the evidence.

Rebecca Calderon The only reason for direct rule is misgovernment, so if we get it the fault will lie squarely on Fabian Picardo and his GSLP- Liberal Government

Latest lies put out by Mr Picardo are to distract from what heā€™s done. Real issue here is heā€™s passed a law to help himself. Itā€™s an ugly power grab suggested by his defence team in the Inquiry. We wonā€™t let them bury the truth or get away with it & thatā€™s why heā€™s lashing out

Delaying the meeting for 6 hours and in the meantime granting royal assent. One thing I have to say about the Governor: Coward!

GBC News A clear illustration of why people like Robert Vasquez should be in politics. No political affiliation to any party just the people of Gibraltar. With him there it wouldn't have happened.

An update, and some thoughts on, Gibraltarā€™s Inquiries Bill, which is currently being rushed through Parliament so it can apply to the Openshaw Inquiry which is due to start two weeks today, after 2 years of preparation. The bill poses significant issues for the rule of law and

Politicians would have us believe they entered politics as selfless acts of charity, against their own better judgment and as a form of self-flagellation for the enhancement of the public good. Be wary of them.

How can we believe this when there is a very clear conflict of interest and the advice came from his lawyer?
He has already tarnished Gibraltar's reputation through his actions on this matter. How is that in the public interest? Shame on his ministers for playing along.

Mr Picardo admits on GBC Television he may use new Inquiries Bill powers to restrict evidence; have hearings without access to the public & withhold information from public. This can sidestep what the McGrail Inquiry Chairman has decided or could in future! Wow! 1/2šŸ‘‡
