Today we remember FP, Hutchesons' Teacher, Depute Rector, Senior Depute Rector, Interim Rector and Governor of Hutchesons’, Graham MacAllister, C1962.

A remarkable Hutchesonian, who will be missed by many.

The Scottish Schools Badminton Union recently hosted their Secondary Championships with Lucas (S4) taking 1st place in the Intermediate Boy’s Singles. Lucas + Thenoo (S4) scooped 1st in Intermediate Mixed Doubles. S1’s Maoyan + Divyam were runner up in Junior Boy’s Doubles. 🏆 🏸

Our S6 The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold group ventured to Lochgoilhead at the weekend, to practice their canoe river and sailing skills. On-site training included route and menu planning for their qualifying expedition, with our adventurers covering Trangia stove cooking and all things First Aid.⛵🛶

P2 pupils have enjoyed learning about African music in class recently through singing songs and having fun playing African drums. Elsewhere throughout the Primary School, classes have also enjoyed learning about the bagpipes from our Pipe tutor, Mr Nevans. 🥁🎶

Congratulations to our S4 pupils who represented Glasgow and the West. Playing in three different teams with all Glasgow teams winning against the three Caledonia teams.💪🏉
