I thought scholars were experts in their areas? That's what the OED says, anyway.

How can a 3 year old sit like an expert when their stage of physical development might impact their core strength and so their ability to sit upright, which I'm guessing is what this alludes to?

This is so important I will retweet a second time. Experienced teachers have said all along that phonics is a useful tool, but not the only tool.

The fact that it was universal was its strength. Those that think targeted would have been better, demonstrate a lack of understanding of how communities function . If you feel judged it creates a lack of trust and you are less likely to engage. Parents supporting parents was key

and huge omissions.
