We now offer bike lock check out! Library staff regularly noticed people having to leave their bikes unlocked outside when the would visit the Library; and, with bikes serving as so many people’s primary method of transportation, the staff knew something needed to be done.

This morning, Monday, Sept. 21, an employee at the Algiers Regional Library reported they tested positive for COVID-19. This location will be closed for cleaning by the New Orleans Mosquito, Termite, & Rodent Control Board today and is expected to reopen tomorrow.

Update: Hubbell Library will be open today for for computer/Wi-Fi access, phone charging, and air conditioning. We do not have device chargers and ask residents to bring their own. Plugs will be available on a first come, first served basis for an hour per person.
