This week, Housing Trust Fund Ventura County CEO Linda Braunschweiger has been in Washington D.C. advocating for stronger affordable housing policy and funding. While elected officials are on break, Linda reports that staff members have been highly engaged and receptive.

Since 2000, median rent in California has jumped 40%, but renter incomes have barely kept up, rising just 9% (adjusted for inflation). It’s no wonder so many families are struggling to stay housed. HTFVC is committed to funding safe, affordable homes so local families can thrive.
