We finished off our learning about earthquakes today by understanding how humans adapt to them in their daily life - we participated in our own earthquake drill that countries such as Japan and the USA have to train for! 🌎 #stmgeography
Finally, we had Chris talk to us about his role at the HMRC and what he does for a living - he was really impressed by the questions we asked! #stmaspireandachieve
Jess - who is a Digital Marketing Manager for VisitLiverpool - discussed and showed us all of the amazing work she does each day. We were very impressed with her efforts for Eurovision (Mr Daly also appreciated her favourite football team and player!) 🔵 #stmaspireandachieve
Then, we welcomed Cathy to our class! Cathy has a very important role working for the NHS cyber security team and we loved asking her questions! NHS England #stmaspireandachieve
An exciting day began this morning with a visit from The Anfield Wrap, who told us all about their jobs as content creators and podcasters. #stmaspireandachieve
Finally, we had a very interesting and exciting session with Simon, a video game illustrator and designer who works for Lucid Games 🎮 #stmaspireandachieve
We then had a visit from Rachel, who works for the Home Office Homelessness team in Liverpool! #stmaspireandachieve
We’ve been very fortunate to have Rachel and David from 🏥 Alder Hey 💙 come in to speak to us this afternoon, telling us about their roles in finance at the hospital! #stmaspireandschieve
In computing today, we stopped to think about how photos are altered and the reasons why they are edited online! #stmcomputing
We were also very fascinated by Demitri’s job, which is as a cyber security analyst for the Bank of America! We learnt so much about keeping secure online #stmaspireandachieve
We were very lucky to have Steve come in and speak to us about his job at the HMRC today! #stmaspireandachieve
The work we do with schools and education is central to the ethos of the museum. We’re so pleased our fabulous colleagues left such a mark with these students🙏🏼 💫
