Yes! When my husband was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, we learned he has a genetic mutation. We quickly figured out which side of the family it came from and informed his sibling, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Early screening is critical for this disease.

We know that not everyone who is invited for bowel screening takes it up. The screening age will decrease over the coming years (with enough govt funding!) but we need to encourage EVERYONE who is eligible for screening to take the few minutes to use their #BowelScreen kit.

It is fabulous to see this support network for people in Ireland with bowel cancer. Well done to
everyone involved, who are patients themselves, going through difficult times but still taking the time to support others.
