A Herefordshire charity funded by BBC Children in Need has supported Katy, 15, with the loss of her dad. She told her story to Beccy Wood #bbcmidlands #BBCCiN

The team at PGL Schools & Groups in Ross on Wye held a staff cake sale for us today - we hear there were lots of tasty snacks on offer, but we have to give a special shout out to Georgia who helped her mum Chrissie make some delicious banana bread to sell!

Happy #ChildrenInNeed night! We're lucky enough to receive funding from BBC Children in Need which helps us support young people across the UK when a loved one is seriously ill. Did you see Katy on the news this week, showing why this funding is needed? Catch up>> bbc.in/3sNzzVA

We're joining charities across the UK today to celebrate receiving funding from The National Lottery Community Fund - their grant will part fund our service for the next four years, helping us continue to support children and young people when a loved one is seriously ill.

Saturday 4th May: Blossom Walk at Broome Farm. Free entry with donations accepted for Hope Support Services.

We have some great news; we have been awarded a one-off capital grant from The Clothworkers' Foundation to update our IT and mobile equipment, helping ensure our technology is as efficient as possible. Our Service Development Manager, SammyJay, is pretty pleased with her new laptop!

Follow the signposts for a leisurely walk around the farm, taking in information about the apple and pear varieties as you go. Donations will be accepted on the day for Hope Support Services, a wonderful local charity supporting young people when a loved one is seriously ill.
