It was a privilege to meet and listen to Holocaust survivor Eve Kugler today. I was profoundly moved to hear of the hope that kept her family going, and the bravery of good people who helped them survive. Thank you H.E.T. for bringing Eve to Parliament

This was such a great event. Always a privilege to hear from Eve and so grateful to Members of Parliament for sparing the time. 🙏

I had the honour of meeting holocaust survivor Eve Kugler in parliament. I asked what message I should take for young people… She told me: young people must meet others from different backgrounds, learn about our differences & more importantly, common humanity. H.E.T.

Thank you to Eve Kugler BEM for sharing her testimony as a Holocaust survivor. A few weeks ago I went to Auschwitz. The memory will stay with me forever. It’s vitally important to heed Eve’s advice: learn from history, hold onto hope, and find ways to live together as humans.

It was humbling to meet Eve today, and hear how hope helped her family face adversity in the darkest of times. Today, we received an update on the UK Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre, and agreed that it should be completed ASAP.

It was a privilege to meet Eve yesterday, a survivor of the holocaust. Thanks to H.E.T. for hosting, and for their work to keep the memory of the holocaust alive in the U.K. Looking forward to making sure schools in #Exeter have the opportunity to learn and remember too.

A huge honour to meet Holocaust survivor Eve Kugler yesterday. Eve’s message of hope was truly inspiring as we face so much conflict in the world today. Education is a vital path to healing those divisions and so the work of H.E.T. is more important than ever.
