Well it is official, King’s Cliffe Airfield now has a Museum. Opening in the spring there is still lots to do but pulling everything together is fantastic.

Forty-eight years on this planet and I am at my first West End show. Very impressed so far. The disappearing dress being replaced with the icy outfit was especially dramatic!

Fantastic day showing the nephew of a pilot KIA during WWII around the airfield his uncle flew from. He got to stand in the very spot his uncle climbed into his plane on the fateful day he lost his life over Germany.

Fantastic to see the King's Cliffe Airfield Museum in the news before it has even opened! This was a fantastic day, it was an honour to show Bill and Cheryl around the old airfield site.

It was great to welcome Richard Hyslop FIG Representative to the UK and Europe & Ricky Phillips Ricky D Phillips - Military Historian to Lodge Park Academy to talk to Yr8 on the Falklands conflict. Richard presented us with a flag from the Falklands to add to our display honouring former student Alex Shaw who died on Mount Longdon.

Thanks for your time Ricky. It is important to us at Lodge Park Academy to remember both Alex and the sacrifice he made and also understand the context of the conflict in which he died.

As well as remembering the sacrifice that our former student Alex Shaw made during this conflict, it is also important to commentate the successful liberation of the British community on those islands which Alex played a part in ensuring.

What a fantastic achievement. This looked like an impossible dream a couple of years ago. If ever there is a story about perseverance and belief this is it. Source: BBC Sport search.app/JrtgxtyGsEpSYs…

But then they will come for the Communists, and then the Socialists, the trade unionists, the Jews and then for you.
By then there’ll be no one left to speak out for you.

I’m stunned. I really mean that. Rishi Sunak has, since his loss, transformed into an eloquent, measured, witty, gracious, sombre statesman who is truly interesting to listen to… attentively. Where was this man before? I’m asking in all seriousness.
