Tonight we mark 78 years since Sandy and 75 of his colleagues made their escape from Stalag Luft III through tunnel Harry.

This month marks Holocaust Memorial Day Trust . We're remembering today the January Revolt of the Warsaw Uprising. This led to a disruption and temporary delay of the Nazis' deportations. Hundreds of brave Jewish people with makeshift weapons or those smuggled in by the Polish Resistance fought back

#OnThisDay in 1940, the Nazis began their invasion of the Channel Islands.
Following the defeat of France, Winston Churchill had reluctantly withdrawn British troops from the Channel Islands. Around 25,000 occupants were evacuated to Britain.

Reminiscing about our amazing battlefields trip which we led with Colfe’s School CCF in 2020... thinking of those, including former students and family members who readied themselves 77 years ago tonight to take Pegasus Bride and those who landed at Gold, Juno and Sword beach hours later
