Thanks to Hinckley & Bosworth BC for backing motion I proposed tonight calling for Hinckley Rail Station ticket office to be kept open. Closing nearly every ticket office on the rail network is terrible policy hope the authorities will listen & keep Hinckley & other Ticket offices open

Under the proposals ticket offices will close at Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Loughborough, Market Harborough and Narborough stations. That’s every ticket office in Leics & Rutland except Leicester. (Loughborough and Mkt Harborough would retain some station staff)

@LlamaLout Hinckley & Bosworth BC I’m nudging H&B forward to get involved in getting a LCWIP. Hinckley is perfect for those short distances to school, station etc and people do it, but understandably they’re on the pavements mostly. Only the brave are on the road there.
