Brilliant rescue yesterday across the Irish Sea by our friends RNLI Dun Laoghaire Lifeboat Station 👏⚓️

Large crashing waves are expected to hit the west coast of the UK today with the arrival of Storm Kathleen.

Please stay well away from the water. Your life isn't worth risking for a selfie.

If you see someone in trouble, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

The Duke of Kent attended the naming ceremony of our Severn-class lifeboat Christopher Pearce back in 2004. A great day for our station and town. Congratulations on 55 years as #RNLI President, sir!

Yesterday, as part of our #RNLI 200 celebrations, we held an afternoon tea for the unsung heroes of our charity - the men and women who volunteer in our lifeboat shop here in Holyhead! The crew popped in too to say a heartfelt thank you for all their hard work 👏💛⚓️

We were extremely sad to hear the news about the Princess of Wales yesterday.

We welcomed The Prince and Princess of Wales to our station in September 2022

We wish HRH our very best wishes for a full recovery, and we are sending love to her family, along with everyone dealing with cancer ❤️

It was all quite graceful in the end...it felt like there should be opera music playing as the Anglesey Aluminium/ Rio Tinto chimney made her final curtain call.... ❤️
