At least one Otter has been showing from reception hide every single day this week! Why not drop in and see if you can spot one? We've also had recent sightings of Goosander, Bewick's Swans, Brambling and more. 😄

Been stuck indoors for five days but popped out locally and although sat in the car, pleased with my first Goshawk of the year with it or another in brief display. A bonus in the shape of a Raven which flew towards Attleborough. A potential garden tick this year?

This. This is the problem with the disconnect between people and the natural world. Cats should be kept indoors. Full stop. Otherwise it's just a lack of responsibility being taken by owners towards their pets and how they affect natural environments.

Some great views of the Waxwings on the Norwich Research Park today. If you visit, please don't park on site (ANPR-enforced parking restrictions - £100 fine). Park on Old Watton Road and walk the short distance to the John Innes Conference Centre.
