Tombstone of Vicuritinus, son of Beria(cus).

Once described as inscribed Macaitinus, but on further examination it was decided it had been mounted upside down and the name is in actually Vicuritinus.

The to the former home of Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797) who lived here as a child.

I love finding history plaques which make you stop and think about the people who once lived thereā€¦. If these walls could talkā€¦.

This green garden is said to overlay the former Llys (court) of Llywelyn ap Gruffud (Llywelyn the Last). It is unknown if one wall of the building was incorporated into the wall but at ground level it is the only section of wall to have window seats.

A visit to Conwy wouldnā€™t be complete without a visit to Britainā€™s smallest house. Built in the C16th century the house remained in use until 1900. Alas it wasnā€™t open on the day we visited so we settled for a delicious locally made Parisellaā€™s ice cream from the stall opposite.

Citch Catch Archway, Rhuddlan

This archway leads to the path known as the citch catch dates back to the 1900s.

It was a short cut allowing the residents to access to a fresh pump once situated opposite.
