Movement most people are missing Lateral Decelerating (slowing down) Landing jumps (start small, 6-12” is good) Crawling Rotating (throwing balls, punches, frisbees, swinging rackets) Hopping Bounding Skipping (looking at Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.) Diversity of movement is vital.

Did you know the majority of adults preaching “mental toughness” at your kids: 1) Complain that it’s hot outside. 2) Lack discipline to train hard a few times per week. 3) Completely fold to their children’s Halloween candy (& it shows). Less jargon. More lived example.

Today marked the grand opening of our BRAND NEW nutrition center for West Texas A&M Athletics with West Texas A&M Women’s Soccer being the first team to utilize it! Another resource for our student-athletes to take advantage of to fuel and recover from training, practices and competition.

I’ve had dozens of coaches tell me they run their bigs in short 10y sprints because acceleration is all that matters. Max velocity training might get them hurt. Speed is the tide that lifts all boats! Sprint-train your big cats! Big slow guys aren’t good 🏈 players.
