The British High Commissioner to Eswatini, His Excellency Colin Wells, was today briefed on the third edition of Eswatini’s Nationally Determined Contributions by Ms. Duduzile Nhlengethwa-Masina, Director of Meteorology under the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs.
Eswatini was among the first 10 countries to submit its NDC to the UN Climate Change last month. The NDC process was supported under the UNDP Climate Promise through funding from the British Government, in collaboration with the NDC Partnership and the wider UN Eswatini country team.
UNDP Resident Representative, Henrik Franklin expressed appreciation for the valuable support provided by the British Government and for the steadfast leadership of the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs to promote climate action in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
