Home sweet home. 37 years ago, I left this town to work start work at Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office as a clerk. What a fab adventure it has been since and #Exmouth is always where I come home to.

Too young to retire.👍Another 37 more years to go. 😅

Aujourd'hui était un jour spécial pour les catholiques de Mauritanie. J'ai assisté à l'installation de Monseigneur Victor Ndione comme évêque de Nouakchott. La cérémonie était présidée par l'évêque Martin Happe, qui prenait sa retraite après 28 ans de service. Très émouvant. 🙏

Today was a special day for Catholics in Mauritania. I attended the installation of Monseigneur Victor Ndione as Bishop of Nouakchott. The ceremony was presided over the Bishop Martin Happe, who was retiring after 28 years in the role. Very moving. Incredible atmosphere.

A Royal Navy ship will help get life-saving UK aid into Gaza as part of an international effort to set up a humanitarian maritime corridor in early May.

We are also pledging £9.7 million for aid, equipment and expertise to help set up the maritime corridor from Cyprus to Gaza.

Today, Rwanda marks 30 years since the genocide against the Tutsi.
