We've had very dry weather recently, which means fires are likely to spread very quickly. This weekend we need your help: ❌ DON'T light bonfires ✔️ DO enjoy barbecues, but be sensible and safe Never leave a barbecue unattended until the flames are completely out.

We attended a fire in a commercial premise on Lawn Lane, Hemel in the early hours of this morning. Good work by crews to stop any further fire spread. Here you can see the heat build up melted the plastic containers with in the compartment.

The occupants of this house were woken to their smoke alarms sounding in the early hours of this morning. This early alert allowed them to call #999 and their quick actions stopped what could of been a serious fire. #testyoursmokealarm #smokealarmssavelives
