Did you know that the first 6 numbers of your debit card are the same for all of a banks customers? I didn’t until my card was fraudulently used and those who had stolen it tried to gain details of my new card by telling me the first 6 numbers for security. Nearly fell for it 🙄

Thank you Nick Stapleton - no longer posting here with your wise words of “always ring your bank” I avoided giving my bank details to a scammer pretending to be from my bank. Telling me the first 6 digits of my new debit card and trying to get me to tell them the rest as a security check. #notfallingforit
