Proud to announce that the student I have been working with at St. Vincent's School, Joseph, has won the national nomination to the Lions International Essay Competition Lions International . Well done, Joe! We will be reading the essay at various venues this year - please follow our progress.
It was nice to see the visit to McLaren Automotive that I arranged for my magazine group Rainford Sixth Form featured in the Liverpool Echo Liverpool Echo. It was a rare & privileged opportunity. My thanks to Alan Foster. Our magazine & McLaren feature will be available soon @InCreativeMind
In February, I will be joining a trip to Sierra Leone, organised by All Saints Catholic Primary School, Anfield & British Council. I will be volunteering to teach mobility at a school for blind children. If you would like to help by donating a long cane (£28 each), please contact me: [email protected]
Humbled to receive an ‘Outstanding Service to Community’ award from Lions International Liverpool President, Mike Armstrong -signed by Lions International British Patron Sophie Edwards Countess of Wessex. Proud to work with Lions whose principles I so admire – our common unity – compassion
Thank you so much to my family, friends & the City of Liverpool Lions International in helping me to raise £500 to purchase long canes for the Milton Margai School for the Blind in Sierra Leone. I fly out tomorrow & will give my very best to teach the children how to use them #Mobility
Sharing, with the wonderful children at Milton Margai School for the Blind in Sierra Leone, the essential mobility skills and knowledge for using a long cane - skills that we are fortunate to be able to offer St. Vincent's School helping to promote #Mobility & #Independence

Excited to be en route to the Houses of Parliament for Joseph St. Vincent's School to present his essay to the Lions Clubs International event with the United Nations. Getting some final reading practice in & having some fun 😊 #goodtimes
A very special day at the Houses of Parliament for us all, with Lions International essay winner, Joseph from St. Vincent's School. Joseph read his work perfectly & has thoroughly enjoyed his day. It has been a real pleasure to work with Joseph on this endeavour - he is a credit to his school.
