Wrote a blog post on how UK registration numbers are created. The original content for this is where I wrote some code to output potential registration numbers based on wildcards, for situations where you have a partial plate. Link to blog: harisqazi.com/osint/transpor….

Wrote a blog on indexing breach data for quick results. Ended up getting under 1 second results for 300 million entries. Downside to index data: overhead is nuts (65 Gb index / 9 Gb raw). s/o to Joshua Richards for the motivation for this.
