Our Sixth Form Cultural Dress Day saw students and staff celebrate each others' cultural histories and heritage. There was a special assembly where students presented on the meaning and significance of their outfits. Our diversity is part of what makes HA such a special place!

Year 9 students spent a day in Hayward Gallery at the 'When Forms Come Alive' exhibition which features contemporary sculptures from the past 6 decades. Students took inspiration from a diversity of artists and mediums for their GCSE course. #art #gallery

Our team has qualified for the FIRST LEGO League finals! They really impressed with their robot coding skills and an innovative design project which saw them create an architectural model of the Academy featuring new spaces. We wish them the best of luck for the finals. #lego

Year 11 students welcomed Quantum Theatre who brought alive their GCSE English Literature text, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. The performance helps students to understand the intricacies of dialogue, plot and timeline of events and the writer's technique. #gcse

A Level History students visited The National Archives to learn about document research and enhance their analytical skills and understanding of the work of historians. They were given access to historical documents and research tasks to complete. #History #research #education
