It’s been about eight years since I last got all dressed up to go on stage but this weekend I’m pushing myself out my comfort zone and performing in four shows. Will give me something exciting to talk about in the next team meeting!

My laptop had a meltdown this evening while I was mid Teams call and my colleague couldn’t stop laughing at the frozen look of despair on my face. She kindly took a photo to send to me. I feel it accurately captures how I’ve felt about my IT all day today!

Spoke at our 'Uncovering Learning' session as part of our Learning At Work Week today to reflect on all the learning I've experienced on my journey from @ngdp_LGA grad through to Senior Project Manager at Leicester City Council. Never stopped to think about it before but wow it's a lot!

My out of office is on and I’ve started my week off right, enjoying the sunshine in one of my favourite places. How was I ever lucky enough to live somewhere as beautiful as Worcester College, Oxford?!

Sometimes a day in the office makes me miss sharing ideas with the fantastic people of Leicester City Council in person everyday. Then I get to the station to go home, discover all the trains have been cancelled and realise that at times the commute up/down stairs is so much better!

Rather than sunbathing, I spent this sunny Sunday taking our Guides on a day camp. I was very excited to have a go at the Tomahawk throwing myself (though glad to be spectating on dry land while the girls all fell out of their kayaks). #volunteer #girlguidingmidlands
