Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Houston TX, Pearland TX and Missouri City TX until 5:45 PM CDT

Over the next couple of days we are expecting showers and thunderstorms that could produce heavy rainfall possible through Thursday that could lead to street flooding. In the event that occurs, we want to remind residents to steer clear of flooded roads. #houwx

Crews have completed cleanup and they are working to open the lanes. Traffic is backed up well south of the location. May still be a good idea to find an alternate route.
