Not making a difference to social care workers in Wales, simply because Welsh Government not providing Local Authorites with funding to pay the increased rates. Please honour your pledge!

How about meaningful suppprt for Social Care Workers in Wales e.g the Real Living Wage. £1 an hour would make a huge difference, fantastic support, thanks to Living Wage Wales. Welsh Government need to step up and honour their pledge.

Really!! Welsh Labour appear to have done a u-turn on that pledge. The Living Wage Wales has gone up to £10.90. Is Welsh Government really committed to paying it? They've gone very quite! Too much to fund perhaps.

Excellent story. Lovely to hear that Living Wage Wales is making a difference to peoples lives. Welsh Government have gone very quite on their pledge to ensure all social care workers in Wales paid it.

Thanks so much. And yes, I agree - we have a desperate shortage of care workers as you know, and offering decent pay is vital if that is to be addressed. Thank you for your care and for your determination in holding Govt and decision-makers to account.

Worrying but not surprising when Denbighshire pay some of the lowest care fees across Wales - they are keeping staff wages low making it extremely challenging to retain and recruit

Really disappointed there was no direct mention of the role of the role registered care providers - both care homes and care at home providers- can play in this. Let’s work together in partnership on this 💪
