The local Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Proclamation is taking place today, close to the Queen Victoria statue in Windsor, at 12.30pm. The viewing area is limited but we will share video footage so that the whole community can witness this historic moment.

Her Majesty The Queen’s coffin has left Balmoral. Accompanied by The Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence, the cortege will travel to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The Wreath on the coffin features Dhalias, Sweet Peas, Phlox, White Heather and Pine Fir from the Balmoral Estate.

The US President is visiting Windsor Castle today. It's a short private visit to meet His Majesty The King. There won’t be any public events or movements to see in Windsor town centre itself. No road closures are planned. We will see an enhanced police presence in town Thames Valley Police
