I saw the Jane Austen Festival parade yesterday, but the pics that tickled me were from later in the day. Loved this gentleman perusing the historical romances at the Guildhall Market book stall, and reached 'peak Bath' in the Waitrose mineral water aisle! Have a good day! xx

So excited for Louise Minchin and Ruth Ware to round of my birthday weekend at Bloody Scotland ! I’ve seen both these amazing women separately at Women's Prize and Fatal Shores and can’t wait to see them share the stage! This festival is really spoiling us this year!

This was such a fascinating discussion and I had no idea it was Stephen’s first author panel as he seemed completely at ease as if he’d been doing this for years We heard about three very different stories, set in three different countries from three different periods around WW2

Ahahaha tell me it’s a hero panel without telling me it’s a hero panel! 6’2” and the shortest! Brilliant!

I also found one of these under the Christmas tree at Bloody Scotland from Denzil Meyrick ! I feel an early mince pie purchase coming on - it’s seems the only appropriate reading companion!
