My favourite John Savident story (and there were many). As I recall it, as he recalled it to me during my Coro St days.

He was stocking up on some Christmas booze one year at a posh off license in the West End. Ahead of him at the counter there’s a woman placing an order. John

No hissing, no growling, no flattened ears. Just play fighting between a cat and a fox. I love it.

Zip was a champion agility dog, when she was hit by a car and paralyzed. When she came to competitions to watch her brother, “her whole body lit up”.

They let her do a fun run after the competition and her joy is everything.. 🥺

What an absolutely lovely man. Was so kind to me whenever I met him. One of the very best.
