Our new experiment is out at Sydney Marine! Previously we found variation in #sargassum frond size controlled it’s value as predation refuge for epifauna. Now we’re testing for the universality of this relationship using 3D printed algae mimics Gribben Lab UNSW Science UNSW CMSI

Another intense but successful field day! 🌱🌊 Sampled the first time point of the ‘big’ experiment. 840 tubes were filled, 360 #seagrass plants were clipped and bagged, and lots of snacks were eaten. Many thanks again to Katie Erickson, Luke Walker and Julia Hammans! 🌊
