Today, my Administration is canceling student debt for 277,000 more people – bringing the total number of Americans who have been approved for debt relief so far under my Administration to 4.3 million through various actions.

This group includes those enrolled in our SAVE Plan who took out low-balance loans, folks on Income-Driven Repayment plans who haven't gotten the relief they deserve, and public service workers.

For so long, unlicensed gun dealers have sold guns without running background checks, allowing them to wind up in the hands of abusers and violent felons.

My Administration is clarifying that all those in the business of selling guns must get a license and run background checks.

Today, the Justice Department has announced the “Engaged in the Business” Final Rule – an updated and clear definition of who must obtain a license and conduct a background check before selling firearms.
