Trees are considered the 'green lungs' of cities. This is because they filter dust and particles from the air. A tree filters up to 100 kg/year of dust from the air through its leaves or needles. When it rains, the collected dust runs off along the trunk into the ground.💚🌳🌲💚

The forest strengthens the immune system and even protects against cancer. Qing Li, professor at the Uni of Tokyo, and his team have found out that spending time in the forest stimulates the production of so-called killer cells. The body fights cancer cells with killer cells.🌲🌳
