Another Friday at the office. Classes that reached the food drive goal were allowed to duct tape me to the wall. Having a little fun while learning to give back.

What a wonderful family day. I was able to spend the day with my learning family. Thanks to the PAC parents for organizing the first annual ice fishing derby for our school. You could feel the community pride.

We are off to a great start on pink shirt day. What a great way to build our school community. The staff performed an act of kindness of making pancakes for the entire school.

Pink Shirt day cooperative tasks. Our students had to work together in the cup stack, Marshmello toss, and hover marumps. Students also constructed a chain from their acts of kindness and a tree from their commitment to further be kind. A great day. Thank you to all staff

Find ways for learning to continue with flooding and covid -19. A message from one of our parents.

Just like a scene from the 100 Acre Woods. Trying to make a positive during covid-19 and local flooding,students were challenged with constructing a boat from natural materials that would float one of their stuffed animals. Many cool creations were submitted.

Spoiled in my work site. Talented kids filling our halls with the sound of music. Great job!

Special Thanks to Blaine Grinder for giving a hands on experience to the students of Skyline and Marie Sharpe. Students were given the opportunity to learn the process of preparing a moosehide.

So honoured to be able to say a few words of congratulations to Mary at her retirement lunch yesterday. Such a privilege to be in the presence of the Secwepemc language council and all of their knowledge. A great event at Dog Creek School.
