Two great days working with North Region staff from Forestry and Land Scotland talking workplace culture. One piece of feedback. “This wasn’t what I thought it was. It was really good and I feel motivated to help reduce harm” I love working with folks who are curious.

Listening to Zoë Garbett on LBC earlier. Honest & discussing hope was what struck me. If I lived in London I would vote for her. The Labour and Tory candidates both coming across as me me me

If a culture is to have a positive impact it must belong to everyone not just those who lead it. As a leader What are you doing to get a belief in your culture?

I get the need to share knife imagery. You want to highlight the issue or communicate what is being done to address it. That’s fine, just ditch the knife image. It’s counter productive and contributing to the issue you want to reduce. Learn to think differently

Every gesture of kindness matters, big or small. When we act in such an altruistic way we can help others do the same. Kindness is the perfect word. I spoke with US comedian Joe Gatto about this a couple of years ago youtu.be/bXvgaTeRMB4?si… We had fun.

Spot on. Why should we be focusing on women here. Surely we as men need to keep an eye on our mates. Friends don’t let friends ………

Fuck you, you’re an idiot no fuck you you’re an idiot. This is the current discourse in the UK just now and one that is being driven from the very top. Let’s always remember that Just because I may disagree with you doesn’t mean I don’t care about you.

I can’t help but think we as a society need to get better at disagreeing with each other. Whether in Glasgow or Edinburgh our police officers appear to be in the middle of events that could be prevented if we showed some respect to each other bbc.com/news/articles/…

Purpose of this thread is 1 To motivate people to get involved. When u see a reason to get involved u act & 2. To communicate to others in prevention don’t simply expect or tell people to get involved. You need to make it relevant to those you are trying to persuade

Nice to see lamb 12 back with its mum (on right). Yesterday I cut it from the wire fence it had become trapped in. The grass is always greener and all that. Every year at this time I become the “lamb rescuer” As you see I have a big flock to watch over. Step
Away from the fence
