I had such a great time presenting my PhD project yesterday in Hamburg that we forgot to take pictures of the talk itself! Many thanks again to Sué González Hauck & Jens Theilen -and to Professors Sigrid Boysen & Marcus Payk- for the opportunity to engage with the HSU community.
After the swift and violent removal of the Berlin-wide students' encampment Freie Universität without any attempt to enter into a dialogue with the students, some of us wrote this statement. Please consider signing. Gerne unterschreiben! docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…
Several hundred students set up a non-violent anti-war protest camp at Freie Universität today. The police cleared the camp within hours — like this. The FU administration at the scene did not negotiate with the protesters. They refused to comment.
I support the courageous students who established an encampment Freie Universität in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Apparently, FU called the police on them already within minutes. We are watching
How it all began! Dana Schmalz Raffaela Kunz remember those early days when the blog started as a project initiated by PhD students at a kitchen table. Both academically grew up with it.
Thinking back to the last, looking forward to the next💫10 years💫: voelkerrechtsblog.org/volkerrechtsbl…
What an anniversary - 10 years of Völkerrechtsblog! It's been a ride, and a truly formative one. In this post, Raffaela Kunz and I reflect about our active years, experiences and hopes.
Many thanks to the editing team for the invitation and for organising this ' #blögiversary ' symposium.
If you're going to read something about diplomatic asylum and the Mexico vs. Ecuador cases before the ICJ, please read Francisco-José Quintana and Justina Uriburu's piece.
Any case deciding on issues of asylum in Latin America must consider its political and legal history for our region.
Excited to be presenting in Hamburg next week at the Helmut-Schmidt-Universität. Many thanks to Sué González Hauck and Jens Theilen for their kind welcome!
Reach out to me via email ([email protected]) if interested in attending.

I'm not going to be able to attend myself but I would strongly advise registering for this. Very few textbooks have the range of this Routledge Law volume.
The recordings of the insightful conversation with Kalika Mehta, grietje baars, Dr. Shahd Hammouri د.شهد الحموري & Tor Krever are now available here.
