We are absolutely so delighted with the truly fantastic results that our Leaving Certificate Applied Class of 2024 students received today. We wish them all the very best as they make plans for apprenticeships, traineeships, entering the workforce or moving to further education.

This eye-catching mural has brought lots of colour to our school campus! Students involved in our Summer Programme were very busy indeed, over the holidays, in delivering such colour and creativity that our whole school community will enjoy over the weeks and months ahead!

We welcome all our students/staff back tomorrow for the start of the 2024/25 year. This is also the 50th year of our school’s move to Coolgreaney Road. Pictured is Arklow V. S. - in 1974 - to where we are now, as Glenart College, a tradition of education going back to 1905!

A useful visual for all our students, as we return, for our first full week, tomorrow. Two “Bell Times” operate on VSware now: for the 8.50am Tutorial & 1.58pm class. Texts will be sent home if absent during these times. Start as you mean to go on: be punctual & be prepared!

Our students had a great time at the Ladies Golf in Carton House Golf last Friday! Great weather & great golf made for a great combination. No doubt it will inspire more to play the sport & build on our school’s recent successes in the sport. Thanks to Mr McDonald & company!

As part of the many new exciting modules in Transition Year, this year, our students have plenty of opportunities to develop their leadership skills. Delighted to hold our first LIFT roundtable today, facilitated by Ms Healy, lead teacher, & Mr Rolston, Deputy Principal.

All-Ireland champions! Huge congrats to Glenart students Baylee, Faye, Lily-Mae, Bronagh & Sarah as they represented Wicklow at the National Community Games yesterday - winning with their performance of ‘War’ - in the Cultural Corner competition. We are hugely proud of you all!🥇

Well done to Abbie, Lily, Katie and Shauna, in First Year, who were part of the Arklow Rocks U14 team who won the county final last week. Lily O’Donnell captained the team. We look forward to seeing these girls represent our school in upcoming competitions: well done girls!

10 days until our Open Evening! Leading up to it, we’ll be sharing some insights into our school community. Today, we focus on our proud history in Arklow, dating back to our school’s formation in 1905! In 2025/26, we will celebrate 120 years of continuous service to Arklow!
