Die brutale Gewalt nimmt einfach kein Ende. Nun kam ein kosovarischer Polizist zu Tode. Vermutlich tragen dafür wieder serbische Gangs (mit direkter Unterstützung aus Belgrad) die Verantwortung. Ich bin gespannt, was Präsident Александар Вучић diesmal als Ausrede einfällt.

Die Lage im Kosovo ist beängstigend: Vor wenigen Tagen wurde von serbischen Kriminellen ein Terroranschlag auf die Polizei Kosovos verübt. Der Terroranschlag soll von Seiten Serbiens geplant gewesen sein. Die EU muss jetzt handeln & den Destabilisierungplan Serbiens stoppen! 🧵

Nicht zuletzt grenzt das Statement Vucics an einer Kriegserklärung dem Kosovo gegenüber. Wann handelt die EU endlich und stoppt die Destabilisierungspolitik Serbiens und Vucics auf dem ganzen Westbalkan? Es reicht! (4/5)

The situation in Kosovo is frightening: a few days ago, Serbian criminals carried out a terrorist attack on the Kosovo police. The terrorist attack was allegedly planned by Serbia. The EU must act now & stop Serbia's policy of destabilization! 🧵

25 years ago, U.S. citizens Ylli, Agron, and Mehmet Bytyqi were killed in Serbian police custody. Today, the perpetrators of this brutal act remain free. We call on Serbia again to complete its investigation and bring those responsible for their deaths to justice.

Wenn der serbische Autokrat Александар Вучић heute herzlich in 🇩🇪 willkommen geheißen wird, gibt es viel zu besprechen: der im Raum stehende Vorwurf von serbischen Anschlägen auf kosovarische Infrastruktur,die Rückschritte bei Rechtsstaatlichkeit+Demokratie, die prorussische Außenpolitik.

Unfortunately, Serbia has neither improved the rule of law, democratic culture, alignment in foreign policy or media pluralism, nor made progress in normalisation with Kosovo. Given this miserable record, what justifies opening another cluster in the EU accession talks?

Kosova is a real democracy in the Western Balkans and a top reformer who really wants to join the EU. It’s high time to recognise the progress made and provide the country with positive incentives to move forward. Thank you Prime Minister Albin Kurti for your leadership. #MSC2025
