Don't often post win, lose or draw but really proud of the kids this weekend. They've served up two great performances despite having players out. They have stood up, played out of position and got their rewards. MSB Woolton FC have got some serious talent coming through 👏👏

Disappointing today after such good performance last week - think oppo were up for it from the start and we were slow starting again. I'd say its hard getting teenagers going for early kick offs but it was midday 🤣 Looking forward to Tuesday testing ourselves against older team

Happy International Women's Day. As a team we have always believed in mixed football from a very young age - when the ability is there why should gender be a barrier? We continue to do so until such time that the girls tell us otherwise. Would love if all teams did the same💪⚽️💙

Such terrible news about Andy Halewood lions fc manager Really nice fella - we'd talk all things grassroots football regularly and enjoyed catching up whenever we played. He was always complimentary to our boys & girls. RIP Andy, condolences to his family and Lions kids & parents 💔

Today we remembered our friend Andy from Halewood lions fc with a minutes applause before our game with Dynamo Childwall u16 Thinking of all of Andy's family and friends at this desperately sad time.

Well done to all the Halewood Lions kids, parents, ryan copp and Geoff for playing the game yesterday in the circumstances. You all did Andy proud. We were happy to help this week in whatever way we could and everyone MSB Woolton FC pass on our condolences to you all.

Great game this morning. Terrible start 1-0 down without the oppo touching the ball 🙈 We recovered and managed to somehow stay level until the break as we were second best all over. 2nd half we were much better and scored some great goals. Thanks to @Mainliners_u15 for the game

Saturday league starts tomorrow and we have no game 😫 just means another 24hrs wait to get going. Long pre-season, but some excellent football on show from the kids. New kids settled well and existing kids upping their levels. Raring to go now. 💪⚽️
