It’s all hands to the pump when heavy rains in #sunny #Gibraltar flood Royal Gibraltar Police headquarters. Not even the sandbags could prevent this MeteoGib 🤦🏻‍♂️

Assaults, burglaries, domestic violence, traffic matters. If the sandbags can’t stop the water flooding into our HQ we’ll add this to our job description. In this day and age it is unacceptable to be working in such deplorable conditions. A new HQ cannot come soon enough.

Today, we have attended training days where we have explained to officers, how the Grievance Process works, and how to report unacceptable standards of behaviour internally.

Apart from our usual officers keeping us all safe this Christmas, a good number of our members will be forced to work ‘On Call’ throughout the Christmas Holidays. The reality is that for the vast majority of our members, Christmas is all but cancelled for us once again this year.
