Falls are very much a sentinel event and an opportunity for ED/any providers to initiate multidisciplinary assessment and care in an effort to reduce subsequent morbidity and mortality. GeriEM Canada
Pts w/ dementia revisit the ED more frequently, but we lack info on pt characteristics + reasons for revisit. Research is needed to understand the challenges of transitions of care + the role of the ED. Check out this systematic review Kayla Furlong
