In Inspire History, 6b utilised our Geography Inspire skills. After completing a fact file about Queen Victoria, we used atlases to explore the British Empire during her reign. It was great to see collaborative working and the development of their map reading skills.

A great first day back for 6A. They've dived straight into our new Geography Inspire topic of Russia - using their map reading skills. They've also begun the topic of ratio, in Inspire Maths, in a fun and practical way.

In today’s Geography we learnt about physical & human features. We went on a walk around the school perimeter and looked on Google Earth to see what human/physical features we could find in Ashton, then sorted photos onto a table. Super job 1A! Geography Inspire Inspire Academy

In Geography today we learnt that maps are created from a birds-eye/aerial view. We drew maps of our bedroom from this viewpoint then used aerial photos of our school grounds to create collaged aerial maps of Inspire. Impressive work 1A! Geography Inspire Inspire Academy
