On #WorldTeachersDay, we celebrate teachers like Yexica from Genesis Center who supports her students to advocate for and take ownership of their learning. Using our English Now! Learning Circles model in her classes, she says, "gives [students] the power of confidence."

Genesis Center provides high quality education, training & support services to more than 1,000 immigrant, refugee, & low-income families. I joined them today at their Street Party in celebration of their 40 years as a vital resource to our community.
