Good news: US CO2 emissions continue to decline!

More problematic: All those declines are more or less concentrated in the power sector, and we need to make more rapid progress with transportation, industry, and buildings (as well as non-energy emissions from agriculture).

Hordern (2024) is an informative discussion of issues arising from UK & Australian governments increasingly narrow prescription of the curriculum & pedagogy of initial teacher education, and of the related ‘what works’ so-called evidence based education.

Market Street, by the Covered Market, has now reopened as a “pedestrian and cycle zone” following resurfacing works. Access is permitted for taxis/private hire and loading in marked bays.

At this point pretty much everyone except a few Twitter shouters realizes that Israel is being extremely brutal in this war.

The U.S. shouldn't be supporting this; we should withdraw military aid, support Arab states' attempt to end the conflict, and pivot to Asia.

My newest paper is 'Virtual Town and Gown: The Athabasca University Crisis and the Conflict of Institutional Logics'. It is my attempt to analyze a unique conflict in Canadian higher education (and the paper is open access).

There's no 'right' way to write.

Some people write as they think and think as they write

Some people think first and then find the best words later

Some people just need to get words on the page and then think it through

It's about finding the approach that's *right* for you.
