This is only the beginning of the battery revolution. We will get a resilient and affordable energy grid with solar, wind, and storage everywhere.

Stonehaven aren’t pollsters, they’re lobbyists, being paid by the gas industry to prolong unhealthy, dirty, climate-destroying boilers. As it happens, all electric homes are cheaper to run, better to live in and healthier. The gas industry know this and are shitting themselves.

A ship with solar panels can provide the means to generate 100x more energy than a similar ship with coal, the International Energy Agency says. However... if you take final energy (the electricity from coal) instead of primary energy (the heat in the coal) it is actually 300x more energy.

Welcome to the topsy-turvy world of farm lobbying... 🙃 "Small farms will be broken up and they'll all be bought by big landowners, this is the end of farming as we know it." Reality: 🤫big landowners* currently buying up farmland because they get unlimited IHT relief 😩

I mentioned flame retardant DBDPE when I gave evidence to Environmental Audit Committee's 2019 Toxic Chemicals in Everyday Life inquiry. Finding it to be vPvB comes as no surprise - and the busted Furniture Regulations mean you could be sitting on it right now. I'm still working on junking the law

"Almost everywhere, solar and wind are the cheapest sources of new electricity. So doubling down on #fossilfuels is absurd" ~ António Guterres #COP29Azerbaijan

1/Energy bills are set to rise again due to a spike in global gas markets, with wholesale gas prices up 15% since the last energy price cap was announced. This will put up energy bills because of our reliance on global fossil fuel markets controlled by petrostates and dictators.

🌞 Myth-busting research from Lancaster University reveals UK solar farms use just 0.03% of agricultural land, with 95% still available for farming. Many already combine solar panels w/ sheep grazing. Renewable energy and food production CAN coexist. Read more: ow.ly/hPoQ50VBprk
