Richard Nelson has been an inspiration for many generations of scholars and policy experts. His sharpness, his wit and his kindness have left a mark as big as his intellectual achievements. It’s on us who had the privilege to have known him to pass on those values. RIP

Richard Nelson has passed away. He was a true pioneer and probably the most important father of economic simulation models. Much of my early works were inspired by his seminal contributions. I owe him a lot.
