An embarrassingly large number of CBO critiques are comparing current nominal revenue levels to CBO's nominal revenue projections from 2017/18, which is...not valid. Makes me think these criticisms are not really motivated by a desire for more accurate scorekeeping.

This "who scores what" confusion is not new among the Trump people. In 2015/2016, they would often respond to unfavorable Tax Foundation scores by using an anti-TPC (they are liberal) or CBO (they have been wrong for decades) talking point.
