This week Griffin-Spalding K12 Superintendent Keith L. Simmons, Ed.D had his 1st Slices with the Superintendent of the year with his student advisory councils Spalding High School & Griffin High School. Students asked questions, gave excellent feedback and enjoyed pizza thanks Slices Pizzeria Griffin.

GSCS has been working with local and state law enforcement regarding rumors and social media posts. They have indicated that there is no credible threat in our community at this time. All schools are safe and operating per normal operating procedures.

All behaviors are a form of communication…. Teaching our youngsters how to ID and self regulate is key to behavior management. Embed calming & coping strategies into your morning meetings/health lessons. It WILL make a difference. You’ll need patience, a little love, & empathy.
