Scene of Friday's mini landslide in Sandy Bay. During a night of heavy rains across the island, a channel of flax-covered hillside gave way, temporarily blocking access in/out of Sandy Bay via this route.

After days of rain & a heavy downpour last night, the sea around Munden's Point turned brown. Mostly from soil that's been washed off hillsides into Rupert's which was subsequently pushed ‘round to James Bay by the current.
