He gasped and fell in the floor not far from a rock. Right now it was a bad idea. But Billy didn't want to be mean with Balto. When he touched the floor, he escaped a small moan. “Sorry...”

He get up and runned after the wolf. Even if it was a big one, Billy doesn't mind to 'chase' him. It was funny. “I'm going to catch you!” He said as he tried to catch Roan's tail.

Billy runned after Roan and was always trying to catch him. It was funny and like this he was able to keep in mind busy. Then he heard a noise not far from them and another wolf appeared. But this one seemed to be more dangerous than Roan. Billy shivered.

The wolf sniffed the air but this one wasn't in the mood for hunting. But he escaped a growl and Billy covered his ears. The forest wasn't a safe place even if Roan was here. Then the wolf walked away. But Billy, because he was scared, runned away. Don't blame him.

Billy wasn't far from the city when he stopped. He tried to take a deep breath. He was feeling guilty because he left Balto alone but he was just a poor boy. Then he looked around himself before finding a bench. He decided to seat to rest. His little legs were hurting him.

Billy heard a voice and looked up at the man who seemed very tall. Well he was small so everyone was taller than him. “No, it's free.” The boy studied the man and noticed the backpack. And his mouth opened like his brain understood everything or at least tried to understand.

And his mouth was still opened. And he followed the backpack with his head. Then looked up at Roan. “Y-yeah. It's a nice place.” He bit his lips then moved close to the young boy. “Balto, is that you?”. Stars appeared in his eyes like he was living a dream.

Oh god, Billy thought. He would love to hug him or even say he was so happy. But maybe Balto wanted to hide his secret so he said nothing. “Welcome. You're my friend. Are you?”

He paused before turning his face to look away. “I wanna be far from my dad. He is bad.” The boy was hiding bruises under his shirt. His brother and him were abused children. But he will not complain about it.

Tears were coming inside Billy's eyes as he looked back at Roan. “He's hurting me.... Yelling.” Their Mother tried her best to save them, but he was being rude with her too. Finally Roan and Billy were alike.

Finally hug from behind @TROUBLEDGOOF. “Love you.”

The little boy sobbed but wanted to be strong so he just removed his tears and smiled a bit. “I wanna live in the forest. I have a tent and a sleeping bag.” He was really serious.

“I know. But what's better? Living in forest or living with my dad?” He made a point. Plus he was hoping Roan would not be so far from him.
