ᅠ he puts the cigarette out on the edge of the bench, settling on picking the skin around his nails instead. "it was okay — y'know, average. how was yours ?" ᅠ

ᅠ "yeah, that sounds tedious—" roan smiled softly at the latter part. at least someone enjoyed spending time with him. "i saw my sister. she pretended i wasn't there. pretty standard at the moment." ᅠ

ᅠ "yeah, well. she hasn't spoken to me in over a year now. i don't go up and talk to her, but she knew i was there." he paused, chewing off a hangnail. "well, it sucks. i miss her." ᅠ

ᅠ "yeah, me neither. that's my own fault though." there's a sad sigh, teeth gnawing the inside of his cheek. "do you want to talk about it ?" ᅠ

ᅠ "yeah . . ." he trails off into silence, drifting off into thought before shaking his head to snap out of it. deep inhale. "no use on dwelling on things though, right ? did you wanna grab a coffee or something ?" ᅠ
